The receptionist plays an essential role in the establishment, being the first point of contact with customers. He/she must provide professional customer service, handle telephone calls, welcome visitors and coordinate various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
Your main responsibilities
Handle physical and telephone customer reception.
Provide information on hotel services and local attractions.
Ensure customer satisfaction by handling their requests and complaints.
Prepare breakfasts and other hotel services.
Manage reservations and customer accounts, check-ins and check-outs.
On-call duty at the reception desk overnight.
Qualities and skills
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar position.
Basic knowledge of customer check-in and check-out procedures.
Communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in the use of reservation software and computer systems.
Ability to handle emergencies and solve problems quickly.

Diplomas and training
Holder of a Bac+2 in tourism, hotel/restaurant, or retraining with a passion for human relations and commercial sense.
Language skills (at least English) and fluency with software are an asset.
Experience
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar position is desirable, but beginners are also welcome.
