Hotel receptionist on the move M/F

Description

The receptionist plays an essential role in the establishment, being the first point of contact with customers. He/she must provide professional customer service, handle telephone calls, welcome visitors and coordinate various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.

Your main responsibilities

  • Handle physical and telephone customer reception.
  • Provide information on hotel services and local attractions.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by handling their requests and complaints.
  • Prepare breakfasts and other hotel services.
  • Manage reservations and customer accounts, check-ins and check-outs.
  • On-call duty at the reception desk overnight.

Qualities and skills

  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar position.
  • Basic knowledge of customer check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of reservation software and computer systems.
  • Ability to handle emergencies and solve problems quickly.

Diplomas and training

  • Holder of a Bac+2 in tourism, hotel/restaurant, or retraining with a passion for human relations and commercial sense.
  • Language skills (at least English) and fluency with software are an asset.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar position is desirable, but beginners are also welcome.
