The building in which our hotel is located was built in the 1930s and is one of the few buildings to have survived the Second World War.
In fact, the town was under German occupation and was the target of numerous bombardments by Allied forces, mainly British and American, particularly in 1944 to hasten the end of the German occupation.
At the time, the building was used as a clinic, owned by a gynecologist and sold in the 1960s.

Jack Kerouac's passage
Hotel activity began in the 1960s, and a two-storey extension was built to provide the current 26 rooms.
In 1965, the author of “On the Road”, Jack Kerouac, passed through this establishment on his quest for his Breton roots. Although his adventure in Brest didn’t achieve its goals, it was marked by encounters with iconic Brest figures such as Pierre Le Bris.
Over the years, different owners have succeeded one another until today to continue its activity and offer travelers coming to the West a calm and restful place.
